{Feels like summer has officially started with long sunny evenings and daisies in the grass}

The second May bank holiday already?!! Crazy how time flies but yay for another bonus day off and it definitely feels like we've started summer now, I really caught the sun in the garden yesterday oops. How has your week been? The start of mine was busy in London with Bridal Fashion week and press days for Alex Monroe and Biscuiteers which was rather fun but also meant that my feet have hardly touched the ground since we've been back from Mauritius. It was also my Dad's big birthday {five oh} on Tuesday so we had a nice family BBQ and are getting prepared for a biggg party for him tomorrow night!

This weekend we're also planning a trip to Columbia Road Flower Market, it's officially peony season {!!!} We're going to a BBQ on Sunday evening and then hosting one on Monday evening {I'll be making an old favourite, Nigella's chocolate and raspberry pavlova}. A weekend to be filled with flowers, family and friends it seems! The best combination. Also on the allotment/garden front we want to try and find some time to get the rest of our seedlings planted, the courgettes and dahlias are ready to go out now and I want to try and find some room in the garden for giant cosmos!
