The Fashion Edit // Spring Summer Dressing

With the coldest, wettest Spring I can remember in a long time, and with even more rain forecast for tomorrow {seriously this Easter weekend has been a washout!}, my thoughts naturally turn to Spring and Summer dressing for those warmer days that we must be due soon?! We've had a lazy weekend which has led to me doing some online shopping, I thought I'd share some of my favourites for the coming weeks ahead if you're in a shopping mood...


I adore this look - top here, and shorts here . See also Zara for lots of pretty broderie this season, their stock is a nightmare online but I found my local store really good the other day.




We've moved away from the black & white gingham of last summer but so far this year I've been loving more summery shades. Like this Gingham dress {I bought a similar top from Zara the other day too}



or this light & airy top with pretty sleeves





I can never resist a sundress, especially one with tie-knot straps like this






I don't think I'll ever get over my love for embroidery, and this white t-shirt with fringed sleeves is a bargain. 


A pretty pink cami to go with these denim shorts {that I'll be wearing all summer}. 


A floral yellow dress for Maytime and beyond


I don't normally wear red but thought this dress would be perfect for hot summer days in Italy or France this summer.


Especially when paired with this fun summer basket - my friend had this when she came round for my Birthday the other night & she's the style queen.


I bought last season's version of these shorts last year and wore them so much in Australia teamed with black & white tops.






And it seems like I'm obsessed with button down tops too, have just ordered this cami {and this skirt!}. Hoping they get my size back for this dress too.



Fresh green stripes with a French Twist


Or this version with a pink neck.





Denim wise, my favourite jeans are finally back in stock so I've just ordered a couple of pairs -  if you like them super skinny like me then these are the comfiest & most flattering I've found {and buy again and again}. But I've also just ordered these to try for the summer.



And finally, it seems like there are a few Amalfi Coast inspired lemon collections this season, with these Lemon espadrilles and Elizabeth Scarlett's upcoming lemon range. You heard it here first!

Are you excited for ditching the coats and baring your ankles again soon?! I sure am. Sunny days can't come quick enough. But until then you'll find me curled up on the sofa about to crack into another Easter Egg! Happy Easter.
