{The start of autumn leaves falling}

We got back last weekend from an amazing week travelling around Cornwall in a vintage VW camper van. I'll do a blogpost on that soon but first I'd love to tell you about our stay at The Pig near Bath where we stopped off for a night on our way home for a bit of luxury after a week of campsites.

{Garden pickings, summer's not over just yet}

The only sport I love to watch is tennis, especially Wimbledon each June. Wimbledon is one of the four annual grand slams and the world's longest running and most prestigious tournament. I worked at a tennis club for five years and I just love warm sunny days with a big bowl of freshly picked strawberries watching a match. Ben is mad about practically all sports and loves to go and watch the tennis so last summer, after getting given a pair of tickets for my birthday, we had a great British day out in the sunshine.

You can't beat Paris in the Springtime, such a gorgeous city to wander around with amazing food and so quick and easy to get to on the Eurostar. It was my 21st Birthday at the end of March this year so Ben took me to Paris for a weekend in early April as part of the celebrations.

September signifies the end of summer and a move into Autumn. Food wise this means a move from weekend BBQs and summer pavlovas into Sunday roasts, crumbles and sticky toffee puddings. One of my all time favourites is an apple crumble and at the moment there are an abundance of plums and blackberries to add in too. We're lucky enough to have an old apple tree in our garden which produces lots of fruit. We've also just planted a mixture of fruit trees at our allotment so next year we should have it coming out of ears.

If I hadn't have called the blog after my love of flowers and roll top baths, bunting would definitely have been a contender for it's name. Bunting and Rolltops just doesn't have quite the same ring about it..  Bunting for me is so cheery, it comes out for every celebration at home and you always know you're in a charming English town or village when you see flags strung across the streets. Marlow, in Buckinghamshire is one of our favourite places for a day out. It's nice year round but is especially good in the Summer when you can walk along the river and watch the boats in the sunshine with a picnic.

Santorini Part 1 was all about where we stayed but now for our adventures exploring this dreamy place.

Happy Weekend, this week has flown by! Have you got some nice plans? I'm looking forward to meeting a friend for brunch in Maida Vale, London tomorrow morning and then I need to get on with packing as we're away next week. I'm excited to hire a vintage VW camper van  to drive around Devon and Cornwall, stopping at our favourite beaches and seaside towns {Salcombe, Fowey, St Ives and Padstow}. Then we've booked a night at The Pig Hotel in Somerset on the way back - somewhere I've been desperate to visit for ages. Touch wood the weather is looking like it's back to summer next week so I'm being optimistic and taking lots of t-shirts and dresses before autumn really sets in when we're back.

Hitchin or Provence? This was our second summer visiting the Hitchin Lavender Farm in Ickleford, Hertfordshire and I think I loved it even more this time. We went on a bright blue sky hot sunny day at the start of August and the lavender was at its peak, bright purple against the blue sky and smelling heavenly. Pick a path to walk up along with hundreds of buzzy bees and butterflies going crazy for the lavender.

Wow, where do I even begin with this wedding series? There is just so much to post about and I wasn't quite sure of the best way to group and order the posts. I'm desperate, and I was very tempted, to share all our photos from the big day straight away but I figured that I should go back to the start of the planning process and show you, mostly in order the steps we took for planning our wedding after we got engaged. {See our engagement story here}

Santorini, also known as heaven on earth. I think I'm going to have to split this post into two I've got so many photos to share and things to say about this Greek Island famous for whitewashed villages built into the cliffs overlooking the caldera and magical sunsets. I had been desperate to go ever since I'd seen photos on blogs and Pinterest a few years back so in Autumn last year we booked up a trip for this May just gone and had such an incredible few days away.
