Do you celebrate Valentine's Day? I know some people think it's all a bit commercial but really what's not to love about being extra romantic, being showered in flowers and cooking a special dinner together? Yes you can do that year round but there is something extra special I love about Valentine's Day {probably my obsession with love hearts and a lot of pink?!}. Some photos from our Sunday if you'd like to see..

I've been plotting ever since we got home just how quickly I can beam myself back to the Bahamas. It was such a dreamy week, made even better by having the warmest sunshine in the middle of Winter. A much needed Vitamin D boost and a week of romance with Ben after a busy January. I've written about the resort Sandals Emerald Bay over on So You're Getting Married {here} but I wanted to post some {ok, quite a few} of our more personal holiday snaps below. Including some of my favourites at the very end if you'd like to see...

I'm back! Although this week has been a complete whirlwind. In fact I think I need another holiday just to get over it. I don't know why it's been so busy. I guess jet lag {I never ever have problems sleeping unless I have jet lag so when I'm wide awake at night and soo tired in the mornings it really throws me}, plus feeling a bit coldy probably something I picked up from the plane, unpacking, washing, getting back into exercise, having a lot to catch up on blog and email wise, a couple of trips into London, trying to secure some new deals plus moving house stress has all caught up with me. So I am very glad it's the weekend at last. And a Valentine's one at that! How is everyone??

I'm in love with Spring bulbs. So fresh, green and {some are} highly scented. They bring an excitement into the house, new beginnings after the new year, a hint that spring and then summer are truly on their way. I buy cut flowers year round, big bunches of tulips and daffs from the local florist or supermarket. But I remembered seeing potted bulbs, roots and all, in glass jars last year and decided that they would be a nice introduction back into gardening after what feels like a long Winter. {and also a good way to use up old diptyque jars, remember these two posts? here and here}
