Playing catch up with photos from the last few weeks. A sunny afternoon in London, combing work meetings with a walk across London and dinner date with Ben. It was the start of April and the first time it felt properly warm and sunny, with all the trees coming into leaf again and blossom out everywhere. The kind of day where you forget just how buzzy London can be when the sun shines. The kind of day that makes you think 'we made it through Winter'!
My bump suddenly popped and up until now I hadn't really worn anything to show her off properly. I'd had a few days of lacking in confidence with what to wear and how to dress a bump, but on that day I remember feeling really good and like I just wanted everyone to notice at last that I was pregnant.

We walked for miles across the city with Ben, we hadn't been around Hyde Park or past the touristy bits of London for ages! Then had a Shake Shack dinner which was every bit as good as the ones in NYC {we actually went to Shake Shack when it first opened in London maybe 8 years or so back now? But at the time they used English local ingredients and we felt it was a sacrilege to the American burgers we love, but then a friend told us that they've standardised it and so we've been missing out for all those years! In short, the best cheeseburger I've had this side of the Atlantic}.
