Happy Weekend and an update...

{Autumn is in full swing both here and in New York}
 Well this week has been a bit of a whirlwind! It started in New York after the best long weekend experiencing Fall in the city. We got back on Tuesday morning and in my inbox was an email from Phoebe at So You're Getting Married saying that she'd love for me to part of the SYGM team after I applied to her job advert last month. I was so so over the moon, I miss the wedding industry after all my planning finished in July this year and it would mean attending fun {and some big name} events in London for the blog, reviewing products and even trips abroad! My first event was last night for Pixi Beauty's 15th Birthday in London. I'll still be running this blog as normal and now attending events roughly one evening a week for SYGM, if you're interested you can follow me on twitter @rebeccaSYGM {and my personal one is @rkedgley}. This weekend has come around super fast after a short busy week which is always good! Sorry no Food post again today but yesterday's cakes at The Grove should make up for it I hope. I'll be back on it next week with my favourite soup recipe. Have you had a good week?

What are your plans for this weekend? I need to catch up with some blogging, hoping to get the first part of our trip to New York up next week and I'm really looking forward to my brother coming home from uni for the weekend. My family are really close so it will be nice to have everyone together again. We're all going for a dog walk and roast on Sunday in Hampstead. Other than that, just catching up with friends and family which will be nice. Enjoy your weekend and Friday which is definitely the best day of the week.
