On Easter Monday, the sun was shining and it hit 17 degrees! The first hot day of the year, the rest of last week was also beautiful. Ben and I headed to Hampstead for a walk and some lunch. It's one of our favourite places to visit and reminds us of when we lived in London for a couple of years - we'd come to Hampstead for a walk most weekends. It's amazing that you're within London yet feels so like a village with miles of heath to walk across. The high street has everything you could want with cute bakeries, nice restaurants and upmarket shops and then there are the surrounding streets. House porn heaven. The whole area was filled with magnolia blossom last weekend and Kenwood House, on the heath was spectacular. Another bonus is that you can park for free at weekends nearly everywhere, have a nice walk with views over the city, get a coffee or some lunch then head home or go into central London.
