Happy Weekend {and Halloween} #44

October 30, 2015

{Autumn leaves still going strong}
Hello to the halloweeny weekend. Have you had a good week? I've kind of treated this week as a half term as most of my girlfriends are teachers so it's a good chance to catch up with everyone. Yesterday I looked after my two little monster nephews and took them out for halloween treats, they're always so good and make me laugh so much. The weather was so glorious at the start of the week so I made the most of the sunshine and crunchy autumn leaves. Bit of a different story now though with the rain and the greyest skies. I also had a fun evening with my Mumma in London on an autumn wreath making workshop for SYGM, I'll blog some photos of it soon but I'm so in love with it on my front door. Hoping it will last for a few weeks then it will be time for the Christmas one to go up!

Right now I'm icing my foot with it elevated on a cushion, so crippled I can hardly walk on it at all. It's from a reformer pilates class, finally the haze of pain killers has crept in so it feels ok at the moment but god knows if I'll be able to leave the sofa much this weekend - sobs! I'm also out tonight with a group of hilarious friends so I think I'd better sit down in the pub all evening. Hoping it's better for a spooky halloween walk around the village tomorrow. Hope you've enjoyed this week's pumpkin themed posts, I still need to get carving! Waiting for Ben to get home then we'll do a couple, although not actually sure I want a lot of trick or treaters tomorrow night haha.

Have a lovely weekend whatever you have planned. If the foot improves we'll head out for a day and maybe some lunch, if not it will be a box set and blogging weekend :(

Back next week with a hallway transformation post along with my favourite reads and wreath making.
